B'day party in cremation ground!

Jabalpur, Aug 24: A cremation ground might not figure anywhere in most people's choice of venue for birthday parties but a young singer did just that in this cantonment town just as a marijuana addict had done at the ancient temple town Ujjain.

The excitement of contrast and media glare could be the factors behind the decision of artist Amit Parnami who celebrated his 32nd birthday along with 15 members of his orchestra team on Wednesday evening at Kariyapathar cremation ground.

''I wish to convey the message that the cremation ground is the final truth of life and it is not right either to be afraid of it or consider it impure. My intention is not to create a dispute or challenge religious beliefs,'' Parnami told UNI
