877 pilgrims leave for Buddha Amarnath

Jammu, Aug 24: The seventh batch of 877 pilgrims left for Baba Buddha Amarnath, close to the Line of Control (LOC) in bordering district of Poonch, from the Ved Mandir complex here this morning.

A convoy comprising 582 men, 280 women and 15 children, left for Chattani Baba in 33 vehicles, including 19 buses, eight tempo type vehicles and six light motor vehicles.

The yatra will reach Poonch by evening and leave early tommorow for Buddha Amarnath.
