52nd batch of 127 pilgrims leave for Amarnath

Jammu, Aug 24 (UNI) The 52nd batch of 127 pilgrims today left for Pahalgam and Baltal base camps of Shri Amarnath cave shrine of Lord Shiva in south Kashmir, official sources said.

The pilgrims, including 76 men, 15 women, one child and 35 sadhus, departed from the M A stadium here at 0505 hrs in a fleet of four buses.

A total of 57,182 pilgrims had left for the holy shrine from the Jammu base camp since July two, admist tight security arrangements, sources added.
