Three arrested for attack on school students

New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) Three people were today arrested in connection with the alleged 'attack' on school students in South Delhi's Sangam Vihar yesterday leading to hospitalisation of two students.

Navin alias Guddu, Ashwini and Naveen alias Nathu were detained last night in raids conducted at their recidence but arrested today after interrogation and verification of facts, according to the police.

''While Guddu and Nathu work in a restaurant, Ashwini is doing his graduation. All are between 20 and 26 years of age.'' Gagan Choudhary and Rahul of St George's School, Alaknanada, were seriuosly injured after they fought with about ten boys at Tigri red light in Sangam Vihar yesterday afternoon.

The fight began after the ruffians allegedly passed lewd comments at the girls in the school bus.

The 'attackers' used chains, rods and hammer to hit the students, said Shiv Prakash, uncle of Gagan Choudhary and added that the driver and conductor of the bus remained mute spectators when the trio barged into the bus and beatup the students.
