Rs 7.20 cr project for Vethpora bridge: J

Srinagar, Aug 23 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Roads and Buildings Minister Gulchain Singh Charak today informed the state Legislative Assembly that a proposal for construction of Vethpora bridge at an estimated cost of Rs 7.20 crore has been prepared and was at present under technical scrutiny.

Replying to a question by member Ms Khem Lata Wakhloo, he said the funds for the construction of the bridge were being arranged under NABARD. The would would start once the funds were made available, he added.

Members Raman Matoo and Mohammad Yasin Shah also raised the supplementaries regarding the construction of the bridge.
