'Ranascent' wins the main event

Mysore, Aug 23 (UNI) Public choice 'Renascent' ridden by Suraj Narredu won the H H Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Memorial Gold Cup, the main event of the races held here today.

The winner is owned by D Khaitan and trained by D R Byramji.

Only Jockey K P G Appu had a brace of winner. Five favourites are obliged in a card of eight events.
