Punni Singh gets 'Bhavbhuti Alankaran'

Bhopal, Aug 23 (UNI) The prestigious 'Bhavbhuti Alankaran', instituted by the Madhya Pradesh Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, will be conferred upon prominent Hindi litterateur Punni Singh, it was announced today.

The Alankaran, instituted in memory of Sammelan's Management Secretary Hanuman Prasad Tiwari, carries Rs 11,000 in cash and a citation, a press release said.

Prominent writers Mukesh Varma, Rekha Kastawar, A Afzal, Om Prakash Sharma and Santosh Bhadoria have been selected for ''Vageeshwari Puraskar'' for 2006.

Both Bhavbhuti Alankaran and Vageeshwari Puraskar will be presented at a function here this year, the Sammelan said.
