Power transfer no problem, Yediyurappa next CM: Sushma

Bangalore, Aug 23 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sushma Swaraj today said that the transfer of Chief Minister's post from Janata Dal(S) to the BJP will take place as per the understanding reached between the two coalition partners and B S Yediyurappa will be the next Chief Minister.

Speaking to reporters at party MP Ananth Kumar's residence in the city today, she said that the party was 'very certain' and there was not even an iota of doubt that Mr Yediyurappa would be the next Chief Minister of Karnataka.

"Credibility is the most important thing in politics and I don't see any problem in change of mantle in Karnataka. There is total unanimity in favour of Mr Yediyurappa being the BJP Chief Ministerial candidate and he will take over the reigns of Karnataka government after October three," she said.

Ms Swaraj said that it was only a logical conclusion that Deputy Chief Minister becoming the next Chief Minister.
