Nine pilgrims killed in a road mishap

Gulbarga, Aug 23 (UNI) Nine pilgrims, including three women, were killed and four others injured when a tempo trax in which they were traveling, collided head-on with a lorry at Marki village in Jewargi taluk in this District today.

Police said that the victims were returning to Maharashtra after a pilgrimage to Tirupati when the mishap occurred.

All in injured, including one seriously, were admitted to government hospital.
