Militants kill policeman by slitting throat

Jammu, Aug 23 (UNI) A group of unknown militants brutally slit the throat of a policeman at Surankote tehsil in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir yesterday, official source here said today.

They said a group of militants killed constable Mohammad Sharief by cutting his throat when he was in his relative's house in Sajote village in Poonch.

In another incident, three militants barged into a house of one Gulam Mohmmad Gujjar in Bagwa village of Doda district and later shot him dead yesterday night, the sources added.
