Malaysian car rally to pass through Naga

Kohima, Aug 23: A car rally organised to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Malaysia's Independence will be passing through Nagaland on NH 39 on the August 25 next.

According to official sources here today, elaborate arrangements are being made to provide logistical support and to ensure safe passage to the rally.

There will be no vehicular traffic movement on NH 39 on that day between Khuzama and Dimapur and mobile medical units will be placed at strategic locations along the road.

Traffic will be regulated at various locations and mobile squad will be positioned at strategic locations to provide security.
