ITD cementation JV bags Rs 893 cr order from DMRC

New Delhi, Aug 23 (UNI) ITD Cementation India Ltd today said its joint venture (JV) with its promoter Italian-Thai Development Public Company Ltd has bagged Rs 893 crore contract from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

The project is scheduled to be completed in 154 weeks, a company statement said.

This is the second contract awarded to the ITD - ITDCem JV by DMRC. They are already executing a Rs 188 crore contract for the elevated corridor on the Qutub Minar - Gurgaon Corridor, including viaduct and structural work of five elevated stations for the Delhi MRTS.

The project, covering a distance of over five kilometers of underground metro construction, is to be carried out with advanced tunnel boring machines and includes the Khan Market, Jawaharlal Nehru station, Jangpura stations and ancillary works on the Central Secretariat - Badarpur Corridor of Delhi MRTS, the statement added.
