HPL receives Rs 400cr order
New Delhi, Aug 23 (UNI) Hindustan Prefab Ltd (HPL) today said it has bagged a Rs 400 crore order for the construction of houses under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).
The work envisages construction of 28,000 houses for the urban poor with basic services such as roads, water supply, sewerage system and drainage.
Company's Chief Managing Director Jaiveer Srivastava said it has also secured work orders in the health sector of Kerala, apart from JNNURM projects in Rajasthan, Meghalaya, Tripura etc.
HPL, a government of India enterprise, under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation has signed a tripartite agreement with the State Urban Development Authority (SUDA) and Raipur Municipal Corporation, a press release said.
The company has built a wide spectrum of civil engineering structures using both conventional in-situ as well as prefab techniques and has also supplied components for the building industry and the national railways.
