Father-son attempt self-immolation

Barabanki, Aug 23 (UNI) A father-son duo attempted to immolate self in front of the district magistrate's office here after their land was allegedly encroached upon by some influential persons here today.

Darshan and his son Ram Milan of Biddhupur village in Baddhupur area, doused themselves with kerosene in front of the DM's office, police said.

The duo alleged that their land was encroached upon by some influential people and in protest, they attempted to end their lives.
