EME Corps makes cycling record
Bhopal, Aug 23 (UNI) The Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) undertook the Ashwamegh cycle expedition that began from Leh on July 30 and concluded in Kanyakumari at 2315 hrs on August 17 to break a national record of 21 days and get its name registered in the 'Limca Book of Records'.
The team broke the national record by 27 hours and 45 minutes, a release from the 3 EME Centre -- at nearby Bairagarh -- said today.
The winners would be reaching here at 0815 hrs tomorrow by the Tirukkural Express from Kanyakumari and be welcomed by Centre Commandant Brigadier P C Joshi, the release added.
