Mumbai, Aug 23: Bollywodd actor Sanjay Dutt, who walked free from Pune's Yerawada Jail in the early hours today, will have to present himself before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) tomorrow as directed by the Apex Court.

According to the Supreme Court directives, the actor and other convicts, released on bail, must present themselves before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) office in Mumbai every Friday between 1000 hrs and 1300 hrs.

The apex Court has also directed Dutt and co-convicts to surrender before the designated TADA court upon receiving the 'certified' copy of the trial court's order.

The apex court has granted bail to the actor and five others on the grounds that they have not been provided the ''certified'' copy of the judgement.

Earlier, the TADA court had fixed August 27 as the date for the delivery of the ''certified'' copy of the judgement. But, the process is likely to be delayed further and could even take a month, according to sources.

After receiving a copy of the judgment, Dutt will have to surrender and then move a fresh application for regular bail before the apex Court, which may take another two to three weeks time.
