Corruption case registered against CBI SP
New Delhi, Aug 23 (UNI) Turning tables on its own officers, indulging in corrupt practices, the CBI raided eleven places of one of its Superintendents posted in Kolkata after slapping a case of corruption against him.
A case against A K Sahay, with the Special Crimes Branch, Kolkata, along with two others, was registered on August 28 for criminal conspiracy and bribery, said the CBI today.
''Raids were conducted at eleven places in Kolkata and Dhanbad including offices and residential premises of the SP.'' The complaint alleges that the officer, along with his 'accomplices', threatened accused and suspects whose cases were being probed by the CBI and took bribe to show favours, it added.
