Compuware to partner with HCL
Bangalore, Aug 23: Compuware Corporation, an enterprise in software and IT Services today announced forging of a partnership with HCL Technologies to focus on IT governance opportunities in India.
Talking to newspersons here Company Vice President Bob Donald said the partnership would focus on India's fast growing IT governance opportunities, combining Compuware's IT portfolio, application development and IT service management solutions capabilities with the advisory and implementation services capabilities of HCL's ITs transformation.
''The partnership will enable us to address our aggressive growth plans in India and globally by building unique solutions around Compuware changepoint solutions such as Test Factory approach that help organisations, improve their return on investment in IT,'' he said.
The Test Factory approach helped testing and applications development service providers, drive the evolution of their service delivery to new levels of efficiency and competitiveness.
In the recent past Compuware's India operations had gained significant momentum. The company had signed 25 new customers in the last six months, including leading IT service organisations in India, he said.
The company also announced the expansion of its management team in India with the appointment of Hariharan Ganeshan as Managing Director for India and SAARC.
Mr Ganeshan earlier worked with leading companies like Microland, TVS Electronics, Peoplesoft and Oracle.
