Brothers kill aged relative, cousin over property

Bareilly, Aug 23 (UNI) Two brothers allegedly shot dead their aged female relative and a cousin over share in the ancestral property in Fatehganj (East) area here.

Police said Dhan Devi (65) was childless and had adopted her relative Avadh Bihari's son Hariom.

This created animosity among Dhan Devi's two other relatives, who fatally attacked her and Hariom late last night.

While Hariom died instantly, she succumbed after giving statement to police in hospital.

A manhunt had been launched to nab the two accused.
