Ban on selling chickens lifted

Shillong, Aug 23 (UNI) The South Garo Hill district administration, in Meghalaya today partially lifted the banned imposed on selling of chickens, including broiler and local products.

The administration had banned selling of chickens after report of outbreak of bird flu in Bangladesh and Myanmar, a government statement said.
