Applications invited for vacant seats in ITIs

Shimla, Aug 23 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Department has invited applications for filling up of vacant seats in various trades in the Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) of the state, a Technical Education Department spokesman said here today.

He said seats were vacant in the trades of tour guide, machanic repair and maintenance two wheeler, mechanic communication equipment maintenance, tool and dye maker, auto electrical and electronics machines, fashion technology, carpenter, stenography english and hindi, bleaching dying and calico printing, Plastic processing operator, draughtsman civil, electrician, fitter, mechanic motor vehicle, mechanic motor vehicle, mechanic electronics, surveyor, wiremen, information technology and electronic system, plumber, pump operator-cum- mechanic, welder, cutting, sewing, dress making, embroidery and needle work, hair and skin care.

The courses were being taught in newly opened 18 ITIs in Garnota, Lachori, Tissa, Thalot, Batail, Badoh, Talwad, Garh Jamula, Swarghat, Chirgaon, Killar, Nirmand, Gangath, Dadasib, Lamblu, Sujanpur Tihra, Theog, Santokhgarh and other existing ITIs.

He said interested candidates could contact the nearest ITIs for prospectus and other information before August 27.

Candidates could appear for councelling August 29 along with their original certificates at offices concerned.
