9 IPS officers transferred in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, Aug 22: The Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in the state.

Besides, the government cancelled the transfer of another IPS officer.

IG, PAC, G P Sharma is the new IG, Intelligence (Communal) headquarters, Lucknow. However, the earlier incumbent V K Tiwari has been made IG, Special Investigation.

Ram Singh, DIG, Railways Lucknow, is the new DIG, PAC, Varanasi.

Asit Kumar Panda, DIG, Economic Offence Wing (EOW), Lucknow, is the new DIG, prosecution.

Fatehpur SP Pradeep Chandra has been shifted to 4th Battalion, PAC, Allahabad.

Sanjay Srivastava, commandant 28th Battalion, PAC, Etawah is the new SP of Unnao.

Ramit Sharma, commandant, 10th Battalion, PAC, Barabanki, has been transferred as SSP, Etah. Whereas, the earlier Etah incumbent has been transferred as SP, Railways, Agra.

SP, Unnao, Ashutosh Kumar is the new SP od Shrawasti.

The transfer of Commandant, 4th Battalion, PAC, Allahabad, Krishna Mohan, who was earlier shifted as the new SP, Srawasti, has been cancelled.
