730 pilgrims leave for Buddha Amarnath

Jammu, Aug 23 (UNI) A fresh batch of 730 pilgrims today left for Baba Buddha Amarnath shrine in the bordering Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.

A convoy of 15 buses and a light motor vehicle (LMV) left for Chattani Baba from Jammu.

The sixth batch of pilgrims, including 404 men, 304 women and 22 children, will proceed from Poonch for Baba Buddha Amarnath shrine, close to the Line of Control (LoC, tomorrow morning.
