3 killed, 2 injured by lightning

Hazaribagh, Aug 23 (UNI) Altogether three members of a family died and two were injured after lightning struck them at Mangardaha village under Kuju police station in this district of Jharkhand today.

Police said the deceased, Kamli Devi (45), Rohni Devi (47) and Kaushalya Devi (36) were taking shelter under a tree when lightning struck them and killed them on the spot.

The injured were hospitalalised.
