UB Group planning flights to US by April 2008
New Delhi, Aug. 22: Kingfisher Airlines Ltd., owned by India's biggest brewer, plans to start flights to the US by April, becoming the first private Indian airline after Jet Airways Ltd. to tap the lucrative North American market.
However, according to Indian aviation rules any operator not more than five years old is not permitted to operate its flights overseas.
