TN: Two die in accident

Chennai, Aug 22: Two people were killed and four others, including a student on his way to attend the counselling in Anna University here, were injured in an accident at Padalam in Kancheepuram district today.

Police sources said the student, Gowtham was coming from Neyveli to Chennai along with five others in a Maruti van, when the vehicle collided with a Polur-bound State Transport Corporation bus near Pukkathurai junction.

The deceased were identified as Karuppasamy and Palani. The injured, including the van driver and Gowtham, were admitted to Chengalpattu government hospital.
