Train services disrputed due to breach

Kolkata, Aug 22 (UNI) Train services were disrupted today following a breach on Rourkela-Jharsaguda section of Chakradharpur division under South Eastern Railway (SER).

According to SER sources, there was a breach of about 400 to 500 meter between Tangarmunda and Garposh stations and restoration work had been in full swing for the past three days.

A few trains had been either diverted or short terminated or cancelled, the sources said.

Today's 2102 Howrah-LTT Jnaneswari Express was cancelled.

2860 Howrah-CSTM Geetanjali Express will run on diverted route via Kharagpur-Bhadrak Angul-Sambalpur and Jharsuguda.

Howrah-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express will also run on diverted route via Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Angul-Puri.

8477 Puri-Howrah Kalinga-Utkal Express will run on diverted route via Angul-Sambalpur-Jharsuguda.

3352 Alappuzha-Dhanbad Express will run on diverted route from Sambalpur via Angul-Bhadrak-Kharagpur-Tata-Chandil-muri-Bokaro Steel city.

2129 Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express and 2101 LTT-Howrah-Jnaneswari Superdelux will be diverted via Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Angul-Bhadrak.

8005 Howrah-Korapur Express will be short terminated at Rourkela and will run as 8006 from Rourkela tomorrow.

8005 and 8006 will remain cancelled between Rourkela-Sambalpur- Rourkela tomorrow.

8029 LTT-Shalimar Express will be short terminated at Bilaspur and will run as 8030 from Bilaspur on August 24. 8029 and 8030 will remain cancelled between Shalimar-bilaspur-Shalimar tomorrow.

8452 Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express will be short terminated at Jharsuguda and will run as 8451 from Jharsuguda tomorrow. 8451/8452 will remain cancelled between Jharsuguda-Hatia-Jharsuguda tomorrow.

3288 Danapur-Durg Souh Bihar Express will be short terminated at Rourkela and will run as 3287 from Rourkela tomorrow.

3287 Durg-Danapur South Bihar Express leaving Durg tomorrow will be short terminated at South East Central Railway system and will run as 3288 Danapur-Durg South Bihar Express.
