Speeding Whiteline hits 24-year-old

New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) A 24-year-old courier boy was injured after a speeding Whiteline bus hit his bicycle from behind in Govindpuri area of South Delhi this morning.

Vivek Kumar was rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after he was hit by the Whiteline, plying on route no 425 (Kalkaji to Old Delhi Railway Station), at about 0900 hrs, according to sources.

The victim, who worked with a courier company and lives in Kalkaji, was hit from behind while he was riding his bicycle near Deshbandhu College in Govindpuri, sources added.

The driver Devendra has been arrested.
