Sonia to meet Mandela on Aug 22

New Delhi, Aug.22: Congress President Sonia Gandhi who, is on a three day visit to South Africa aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries is scheduled to meet South Africa's former President Nelson Mandela in Johannesburg today.

Gandhi, has cut short her visit, which was earlier planned for four days, by dropping Durban from her itinerary amidst ongoing stand-off with Left allies over the Indo-US nuclear deal.
