One gets capital punishment in murder case

Motihari, Aug 22 (UNI) A local court here today awarded capital punishment to notorious gangster Laxmi Singh in a murder case.

Fast track court judge Ramesh Chandra Singh found Laxmi guilty of killing a city based pharmaceutical dealer, Anil Jha, while his associate Mohan Singh was awarded ten years rigorous imprisonment in the same case.

According to the charges Anil Jha was shot dead by the convict at his shop adjoining the sadar hospital in Motihari on August 30,2005 while the victim's father was severly injured.
