GAIL CMD receives Distinguished Fellowship Award

New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) GAIL (India) Ltd Chairman and Managing Director U D Choubey today received the Distinguished Fellowship Award of Institute of Directors (IOD) for his contribution in the field of natural gas marketing and market development.

The award was presented by Mr N Gopalaswami, Chief Election Commissioner of India here.

GAIL has chartered a growth plan by expanding its presence in natural gas transmission, petrochemicals, city gas distribution, and E&P under the leadership of Dr Choubey.

Dr Choubey is a Doctorate in Hydrocarbon from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad; a Post Graduate in Chemistry from Patna University, and MBA from Indian Institute of Business Management, Patna and an LLB from University of Delhi.
