Decision on Koneru recommendations in four days: AP CM

Hyderabad, Aug 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today announced that the government would take decisions on the remaining 30 recommendations of the Koneru Ranga Rao Committee on land distribution in three to four days.

The Government has already accepted 74 of the 104 recommendations of the committee and the 30 recommendations were sent to a 'Group of Ministers' for examination.

Inaugurating a two-day workshop on ''Implementation of Recommendations of Koneru Ranga Rao Committee'' at Dr MCR HRD Institute here, the Chief Minister said his government was for the welfare of the poor and was committed to the implementation of land reforms.

The decision on the pending recommendations would also be taken in three to four days, Mr Reddy added.
