2 naxals held in Gadchiroli

Nagpur, Aug 22 (UNI) The police arrested two naxalites, including a woman, in Gadchiroli district in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra today.

According to police, the naxalites, identified as Durgi alias Jaini Gunna Telami (19) and Munshi Devu Tado (25), were arrested from the jungles in Bhamragad tehsil of the district.

They were wanted in six cases of murder, arson and assault, police said.

They joined the naxalite movement in 2005 and were in the Bhamragad dalam. Later, Durgi was sent to Gatta dalam, and Munshi to the Platoon dalam, police added.
