Vajpayee admitted to AIIMS, condition stable
New Delhi, Aug 21: The condition of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was stable, according to doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) where he was admitted today after he complained of drowsiness and giddiness.
Hospital spokesman Shakti Gupta said the former prime minister was under observation and investigations on him were being conducted.
''He is conscious and stable with normal vital signs.'' Meanwhile, an advisory issued by Mr Vajpayee's office said the condition of the BJP leader was 'stable and conscious with normal vital signs' and he was admitted to the hospital for 'observation and investigations'.
