Rs 198 crore water supply project soon in Mysore
Mysore, Aug 21 (UNI) The Rs 198 crore-Mysore city water supply project under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission(JNNURM) will be implemented within a month, Karnataka Urban Development Principal Secretary Jothiramalingam said today.
Speaking at a review meeting here, he said the necessary tenders were called and the Centre had released Rs 30 crore for the project.
A slum clearance project, at the cost of Rs 50 crore, would also be taken up during the same period, he said.
Several developmental projects, under JNNURM, would be taken up in Mysore in a phased manner.
