Jamshedpur, Aug 21 (UNI) Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today reiterated his demand to dismiss the Madhu Koda-led UPA government in Jharkhand for its reported involvement in corruption and failure to initiate any development work.

Talking to the mediapersons, Mr Marandi, who was here for the campaigning of the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha candidate for Jamshedpur bypoll, said the media reports about one Binod Sinha, who reportdely shared close proximity with Mr Koda and amassed huge amount of wealth illegally, had justified his claim of rampant corruption in the rank and file of this government.

He demanded an inquiry by the Income Tax department into the huge property of Mr Sinha, who became a 'Crorepati' within a short span of time.

'' This government has no right to continue in power for a single minute, '' Mr Marandi said.

He also demanded a CBI probe into the violation of Foreign Exchange Regulation Act (FERA) by the politicians and their bank accounts in the overseas Banks.

The JVM president also criticsed the new mining policy of the UPA government at the Centre.

He said the mineral-rich state like Jharkhand would be at the receiving end if the new mining policy was introduced and demanded to reject the proposal immediately.

He also expressed concern over the proposal of exporting iron ore from Jharkhand.
