K'taka Minister sustains minor injuries

Gulbarga, Aug 21 (UNI) Karnataka Agriculture Produce and Marketing Minister Sharanabasappa Gowda Darshanapur today sustained minor injuries when his car driver applied a sudden brake near Nidisinnor village in the district of Karnataka.

Police said the mishap occurred when the Minister was returning after visiting Surpur, where Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy made a night halt as part of his 'Village Stay' programme.

Mr Darshanapur was given first aid at the Government hospital here.
