India's first interactive car portal 'carazoo.com' launched

Bangalore, Aug 21 (UNI) Buying of cars has been made more simple and cost effective with the launch of the country's first Car Portal ''carazoo.com'' by Logix Microsystems Limited here today.

Company Managing Director Sanjay Soni told newspersons at the launch that the US-based company would offer Indian car buyers the same facility that was being provided to vehicle purchasers in the US.

''Our endeavour is to ensure that customer gets the best deal through our portal. We are offering 78 models to choose and second hand cars on sale would be displayed for selection,'' he added.

He said carazoo.com is a one stop portal catering to the requirements of car buyers and sellers, manufacturers, dealers, financers, insurance providers and car accessories suppliers.

To a question, Mr Soni said negotiations have already started with 200 dealers throughout the country and four major automobile manufacturers. ''we intend to move to Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune and other parts the country soon.'' The company's turnover was Rs 908.74 lakh on a consolidated basis in the current quarter as compared to Rs 427.13 lakh on a consolidated basis in the same quarter last year, he informed.

Company Vice-President Pankaj Patel said ''with its unique features carazoo was slated to quench the thirst of every Indian, who wants to buy, sell or gain information on almost any car they desire.'' UNI
