6 held, Rs 5.20 lakh counterfeit notes seized

Machilipatnam, Aug 21 (UNI) The police today arrested six persons and seized Rs 5.20 lakh counterfeit notes from them.

Police said they were arrested from Neellacheruvu village.

One Ramani of Bhadrachalam, said to be the kingpin behind the racket, was also arrested.

The arrested, produced before a local court at Jaggiahet, were remanded to police custody for 15 days, police added.
