Ability Mela on Aug 21

Allahabad, Aug 19 (UNI) The Viklang Kendra for the first time in Uttar Pradesh is organising an Ability Mela and Convention on August 21 here.

Talking to newspersons, mela organising secretary Dr Neera Banerjee said the purpose of the fair was to provide a platform to disabled persons and voluntary organisations/individuals working for them. It would also help firms and corporates, who employ the physically challenged, government and funding agencies in alleviating poverty and rural upliftment.

It would give them an opportunity to exhibit and publicise their work. It would also educate and provide information to the people by setting up stalls.
