'This is how James Bond was born'
London, August 18: The story behind how the world's most famous spy, James Bond, was born has been revealed now.
In 1952, bestseller author, Ian Fleming, who was a journalist with The Times, was worried about his imminent marriage, and to divert himself from the looming ceremony, he started carving out a story on his typewriter.

Fleming had written 14 Bond books by the time of his death, in 1964, creating an iconic character that had an eternal grip on popular culture. To explore the Bond phenomenon and the life of his creator, a comprehensive exhibition 'For Your Eyes Only: Ian Fleming and James Bond', is the perfect place for 007 fans.
The exhibition, which starts next April, will explore how a middle-aged man's idea produced an entire industry, of not only books and films, but also toys, games and clothes.
