Revolver goes off during scuffle
Chennai, Aug 18 (UNI) Tension prevailed in the suburban Red Hills area when a revolver went off, following a scuffle between three people over car parking, today.
Police said no one was injured in the incident.
One Balan, said to be the brother of an accused in Red sanders smuggling case, had parked his car in front of a car owned by Selvaraj and Devanesan, who were working as conductors in the Metropolitan Transport Corporation.
As there was cramping for space, the duo, returning from the vegetable market, picked up an argument with Balan, who in a fit of rage attacked them with the butt of his licensed revolver.
In the melee, the revolver went off.
