Prominent Muslim cleric passes away

Kanpur, Aug 18 (UNI) Prominent Muslim cleric and Kanpur City Qazi Mohd Sami passed away here today.

He had been ailing for quite sometime and was undergoing treatment at a city hospital.

The cleric was respected by members of all the communities and was regarded as an apostle of peace.

Several social organisations and political parties have condoled his death.
