Passenger held for possessing fake passport

Tiruchirapalli, Aug 18 (UNI) Airport police arrested a Singapore bound passenger for allegedly attempting to fly to Singapore using a fake passport here today.

Police said Selvaraj hailing from Poovarasangudi village in Pudukkottai district came to the airport, to board a Singapore flight.

The immigration officials, on verifying the travel documents found that his passport was fake.

Later, he was handed over to the local police for further action, police added.
