One killed, two injured in cracker unit explosion

Thanjavur, Aug 18 (UNI) A person was killed and two others were seriously injured, when a fire cracker manufacturing unit accidentally caught fire at Kumbakonnam near here this afternoon.

Police said the deceased was identified as Vignesh (18).

The injured, Shanmugham(18) and Ulaganathan (45), were admitted to a Government Hospital at Kumbakonnam, police added.
