Non-bailable warrant issued against cop

Agra, Aug 18 (UNI) A local court has issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against a policeman for the contempt of court here.

Official sources today said the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court had directed the then Jagdishpura police station in charge R K Singh to produce evidence in a murder case.

However, the cop failed to appear before the court on the stipulated date.

Taking a stern note, CJM Mohan Lal Vishwakarma issued an Non Bailable Warrant against Singh.

Besides, the CJM also directed the Uttar Pradesh DGP to ensure the presence of the guilty cop in the court by August 21.
