Bangalore, Aug 18 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Monsoon was weak over the State.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Munirabad 2, Mulki, Mangalore AP, Kumta, Sirsi, Nippani, Belawadi, Kalgi, Virajpet, Hospet 1 each.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. A spell of rain/shower likely towards evening/night in some areas.
