TN: Mahaabishekam performed in temple

Jayankondam, Aug 18: A large number of devotees, including foreign tourists witnessed the 'Eka Dhina Mahaabishekham' at Brahadeeswarar temple in Gangaikonda Cholapuram near here.

Women devotees brought a huge quantities of milk in the 'pots' and offered it to Goddess Mahishasuramarthini, marking 'Kadaivelli ( Last Friday of Tamil Month Adi), celebrations yesterday.
