CPI(M) to continue land struggle

Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 18 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist) central committe member P Ramaiah tonight said the party would continue land struggle till the Andhra Pradesh government distribute lands to the landless poor and house sites to the houseless people.

Talking to UNI here, he demanded that the state government shoud come forward without any delay to solve the issue otherwise they would intensify the land struggle further.

He also demanded that the Krishna district, which was frequently affected by cyclones, should be included in the crop insurace pilot project.
