Cattle traders drugged and robbed of hefty amount
Fatehabad, Aug 18 (UNI) Some unidentified miscreants last night drugged three cattle traders and decamped with Rs 90000.
The traders Ravinder Kumar, Parkash and Dharam Pal, all from Badarpur (UP) were coming to Fatehabad by bus to purchase buffalos from here, when their two co-passengers offered them tea at the stoppage at Meham in Rohtak district, according to Ravinder Kumar, who is recuperating in the local general hospital along with the other two.
Mr Kumar told media persons that they fell unconscious after consuming tea and were noticed by the roadways staff sometime later and rushed to local general hospital.
Upon gaining consciousness, they found the money missing from their pockets.
It is believed that the tea served to them, was laced with some drugs causing them to faint.
